Pragyan Ojha selected for T20 World Cup

Orissa-born Hyderabad left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha was today named in the 15-member Indian team for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup to be held in England from June 5 to 21, 2009. Ojha will be the second Odia player to participate in any cricket World Cup. Medium pacer Debasis Mohanty was first to achieve that feat in the 1999 ICC World Cup. While Mohanty plays Ranji Trophy for Orissa, Ojha has been representing Hyderabad in the National championship. Son of Maheswar and Bidyutlata Ojha, Pragyan was born at Bhubaneswar on September 5, 1986.
